Heading up the Rouge Sheep Society show and sale held at Borderway, Carlisle was the pre-sale Supreme Champion a shearling ram selling for 1,700gns shown by first time exhibitor John Harbinson of Co.Londonderry, N.Ireland,
Glenkeen Nimrod, a February 2013 born triplet son sired by Tullyvallen Golden Box and out of a Kinsella Jackpot bred mother, has been a successful winner during this show season and was successfully purchased by P Crowe of Co Cavan, Eire.

Joining the Millend flock for DJ & GA Watkins of Craswall, Hereford was the second top price of the day a lamb ram consigned by Aberdeenshire breeder Pat Imlah. Bennachie Predator is sired by the flocks new Belgian imported ram bred from the flocks noted Bennachie Honey maternal line. Predator sold for 950gns.
Also selling for 950gns from the same pen was Bennachie Parker, another son of the flocks Belgian imported ram. Parker won 3rd prize at this years Royal Highland and his mother is full sister to the flocks great Honey line. He sold to SA Rural Services of Kent.
Selling for 800gns was the pre-sale 1st prize lamb ram, Tullyvallan Prince Charming, offered by AJ Graham of Co.Antrim, N.Ireland. This lamb is sired by Kyleen Draper who won 1st prize shearling at the 2014 Royal Welsh Show and is out of a home bred ewe by Millend Lighthouse. He now travels back to Northern Ireland for S & J Kerr of Co.Armagh.
TULLYVALLEN PRINCE CHARMING – 800gns

Leading the female classes on offer at 720gns was a gimmer from the Tullyvallen pen belonging to AJ Graham. Tullyvallen Night Shade, sired by Kinsella Kit Kat, is a full sister La-La RUAS Champion in 2012 and 2013. She sold to Ian McConnell of Kirkmahoe, Dumfries.
The first gimmer into the sale ring sold for 650gns coming from the Redfern pen of James Redfern, Staffordshire. This Halton Grange Legend bred daughter caught the eye of Emily Jones from Lampeter.
The female champion of the sale sold for 500gns, a gimmer coming from the Tullyvallen pen again of Messrs Graham. Another Kit Kat sired shearling and bred from a Duc sired mother, she was purchased by H Maudsley of Rathmell.

Also selling for 500gns was a ewe lamb shown by Aberdeenshire breeder Pat Imlah. Bennachie Priceless picked up the reserve female champion ticket and is no stranger to the show ring as she won the red ticket at this years Royal Highland Show. Another daughter of the flocks imported Belgian ram, she was knocked down to J Gate of Northwich, Cheshire.
