PERCY Tait, 83, celebrated taking his fantastic Rouge ewe Knighton Harriet to the Great Yorkshire Show for a second visit by lifting the sheep inter-breed title for the second year running. The dreadful weather cancelled the show after the first day but the interbreed competitions continued on the wednesday morning.
Knighton Harriet is out of a homebred dam from the 60-ewe flock Mr Tait runs at Broughton Hackett, Worcestershire. She had previously been interbreed champion at the Shropshire show this year and now adds the Breed Championship at the Royal Welsh to her string of show titles and rosettes.
