Red Ladies Day at Rouge Sale

The NI Rouge Club enjoyed a near total clearance at their Premier Sale in Dungannon on Friday 28^th August. Sale leader came in the form of Tullyvallen Patsy a Kinsella Kit Kat daughter from AJ Graham Antrim who was Female and Overall Champion at the pre- sale show, judged by Wade McCrabbe, she sold at 1500gns to Oliver Keaskin, Seeorum, Co.Cavan. Male Champion Fairyglen Platinum a French sired Shearling from S&J Kerr sold for the top ram price on the day of 750gns to M Burleigh, Fermanagh. Other leading Shearling ram prices included – S&J Kerr 580, 550, D Tumelty 420gns, B Dickson 400gns, 380gns.

The top price ram lamb came from the Tullyvallen pen, Tullyvallen Real McCoy a March born lamb who was 1^st in the Signet Recorded Class selling at 620gns.

Females were very much in demand with the Tullyvallen pen selling Gimmers at 1500gns, 580gns,380gns,280gns, Jayne Tannahill 400gns twice, A Wallace560gns,320gns.

Ewe Lambs enjoyed a flying trade, leading prices – George Knox 650gns,400gns,280gn, A Wallace 400gns,220gns, Jayne Tannahill 350gns
