Mrs Pat Imlah, Chairman of the British Rouge Society ran a ‘guess the combined weight of three Rouge xTexelgimmers’ at the event recently. First prize being a £100 voucher towards the purchase of a Rouge ram at a society sale in 2012. The winner of the competition was Laura Campbell, Succoth Farm, Strachur, Cairndow PA27 8DW, the total weight of the lambs was 252.5 kg. There were also British Rouge Society ties for two runner ups, Michael Sleigh Auctioneer withAberdeenand Northern Marts and Stephanie McCollum NorthernIreland. Congratulations to them all and thanks to everyone who entered. A very successful day despite the inclement weather for most of the day.
